Eighth

An eighth (1/8 of an ounce) equals 3.5 grams of cannabis flower. It is the most common retail unit for buying flower — small enough to be approachable, large enough to last several sessions. Modern hemp THCA prices range from $25 (smalls/value tier) to $65+ (boutique exotic indoor).
Example: Eighths of the new exotic are $54.99 this week.
Etymology: Standard imperial fraction long used in cannabis retail.
