Kief
aka pollen · dry sift
Kief is the loose collection of trichome glands that fall from cannabis flower when handled or sifted. It is the raw form of cannabis resin and the base material for traditional hash. Kief typically tests 30-50% cannabinoids and is often saved from grinder catch chambers.
Example: I sprinkled kief on top of my joint for a stronger hit.
Etymology: Arabic 'kayf,' meaning 'pleasure' or 'well-being.'
