Marijuana-derived describes cannabinoid products extracted from cannabis plants that exceed the 0.3% Delta-9 THC dry-weight threshold and are therefore classified as marijuana under federal law. Marijuana-derived products are sold in state-regulated cannabis markets only and are federally Schedule I controlled substances.

Example: Marijuana-derived gummies are only sold in state-licensed dispensaries.
