Hemp-Derived
aka hemp-derived cannabinoids
Hemp-derived describes any cannabinoid product made from cannabis plants meeting the 0.3% Delta-9 THC dry-weight threshold defined by the 2018 Farm Bill. Hemp-derived THCA, Delta-8, HHC, CBD, and Delta-9 (in compliant ratios) are federally legal under this framework. The term distinguishes these products from marijuana-derived equivalents.
