aka loose flower / trim shake

Shake is the small loose pieces of flower that accumulate at the bottom of a bag, jar, or pre-roll inventory. It contains the same chemovar profile as the larger buds it came from but is visually less appealing. Shake is often discounted 30-50% relative to whole flower and is commonly used for joints or pre-rolls.

Example: He grabbed an ounce of shake to roll joints all weekend.

Etymology: Industry term referring to flower that has been shaken loose during handling.
