Smalls

Smalls are smaller hemp or cannabis buds harvested from the lower branches of the plant. They have the same chemovar profile as the top-shelf flower but are visually smaller and often priced significantly lower per gram. In hemp THCA retail, smalls are a primary entry-tier flower category.

Etymology: Industry term that became consumer-facing as e-commerce hemp brands like Lucky Elk used it as a category split.
